The Nokia Lumia 720 is becoming one of the most popular Windows Phone in the market today. With its powerful specs, gorgeous design, widest camera aperture size (first ever on a smartphone) bundled with a very competitive price – this smartphone is really going to sell like hotcakes.
Behind all fancy things around your favorite smartphone, the biggest challenge has always been the battery life. The battle of smartphones today are circling around hardware specs, the number of processor cores, the RAM and what have you. But in the end of the day, if your uber powerful smartphone with quad or octa-core processor and a 2GB of RAM won’t last a day or two then its ‘USELESS’. Smartphones are made for portability and accessibility but if your phone is tied up on a wall charger then it defeats its purpose.
Folks from GSMArena has conducted a battery test on the Lumia 720 and the results are pretty impressive for a mid range device.
As per its official battery specs, Nokia posted on its site that the Lumia 720 has 13 and a half hours of 3G talk time. However, this phone lasted for 15 hours and 17 minutes during the endurance test which outperforms the Lumia 920 that only offers 9 hours of talktime.
- Web browsing: 7 hours and 37 minutes
- Video playback: 6 hours and 43 minutes
- Talk time: 15 hours and 17 minutes
So when you get a Lumia 720, you are not just getting a cool smartphone but also a battery that lasts for 3 days of usage and a price which you wouldn’t resist.
