A friend from PureView Club, Marc, has posted several nigh shots from his trip in Crete. He did some shots using the Nokia 808 PureView, Lumia 920 and Samsung Glaxy S4 and Galaxy Camera. Shots were taken on a very dark pool side. Check out which cameras gave the best night shots.
Both Nokia 808 and Lumia 920 set to auto mode, but I kinda like the 808 better in terms of quality but the 920 offers a brighter shot showing more light on other parts of the subject.

On these shots below, Samsung Galaxy S4 even belted out a better lowlight shots than the camera-centric Galaxy Camera.

On shots below, shots failed to impress on the HDR mode on both Samsung devices. But again, the Samsung Galaxy S4 looks better than the Galaxy camera on this mode.

The Nokia 808 PureView can also produce great lowlight shots on both ISO 800 and 1600 (in which I preferred the 800 for lesser noise levels). But ofcourse, on this mode you need a steady hand or a tripod would help.

So it shows that Nokia still holds the “Imaging King” title. Two PureView cameras still offers the best quality even on very dark conditions. Its true that Nokia knows best when it comes to mobile imaging, no one else comes close.
